For every vehicle Edmunds reviews on its website, the automotive authority begins with explaining what’s new with a model and providing lists of the vehicle’s pros and cons. Rather, those are the things you’ll normally see at the start of a review on Edmunds.com. When it comes to the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, this is what you’ll see listed as the vehicle’s cons: Not Available.

Those two words speak volumes about the new Range Rover Sport, don’t they? They certainly indicate that the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport compares well against worthy competitors like the 2019 Acura RDX. Whereas the new Range Rover Sport is eligible for an array of powertrains including a hybrid setup, the Acura RDX is only offered with one. The 2019 Range Rover Sport is equipped with standard four-wheel drive while the new Acura RDX has standard front-wheel drive.

As we explained in a recent blog post, the 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Sport is available in six capable trims, beginning with the SE and wrapping up with the SVR. The new Acura RDX is offered in four trims, base, Technology, A-Spec, and Advance.

As you make your way up through each SUV’s lineup, the vehicles come with more standard features. Although that’s the case, the new Land Rover Range Rover Sport is eligible for a greater number of optional features, including a wade sensing feature that will warn you when you’re getting close to your SUV’s maximum wading depth. The options available for the 2019 Acura RDX are pretty much limited to AWD and a handful of accessory items.
